What should I guard most in my life?
|
Guard your heart above all else, for
it determines the course of your life.

|
It's impossible

Jesus said:
“What is impossible for people is possible with God”
“Anything is possible if a person believes”

Luke 18:27
Mark 9:23
|
I'm too tired
|
Jesus said:”
Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give
you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and
gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy
to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
|
Matthew 11:28-30
|
How do we measure God’s love for the
world?
|
Jesus said:
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so
that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to
save the world through him.”
Even before he made the world, God
loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes

John 3:16
Ephesians 1:4
|
I can't go on. I am weak.
|
Jesus said:
“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.”
When they call on me, I will answer,
I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward
them with long life and give them my salvation.
And the Holy Spirit helps us in our
weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the
Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
And the Father who knows all heart knows what the Spirit is saying, for the
Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will

|
I can't figure things out. How should
I trust the Lord in what I do?
|
Trust in the Lord with all your
heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.
For I know the plans I have for you,
say the Lord:” They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a
future and a hope. In those days, when you pray I will listen.”

How generous should I be?
|
For God loves a person who gives
cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will
always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “They
share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be
remembered forever”

I don’t understand why God allows
people to suffer?
|
And we know that God causes

Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?

How do I know if God will forgive my
sins?
|
But if we confess our sins to him, he
is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
wickedness
You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature
was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all
our sins. He canceled the records of the charges against us and took it away
by nailing it to the cross

I John 1:9,
Colossians 2:13-14
|
How would God give me what I need if I
believe in him through Christ Jesus?
|
And this same God who take cares of
me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given
to us in Christ Jesus.
If you try to hang on to your life,
you will lose it. But if you give your life for my sake, you will save it.
And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?
Is anything worth more than your soul?
And everyone who has given up houses
or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or property, for my
sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will inherit eternal
life.

fear and timidity, but
of power, love, and self-discipline.

Hebrews 13:5
Matthew 28:18-20
|
I will die sooner or later.
What would happen to the believers
when the Lord return?
|
And Christ lives within you, so even
though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life, because
you have been made right with God. The Spirit of god, who raised Jesus from
the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he
will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
Our earthly bodies are planted in the
ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. They are buried
as natural human bodies, but they will be raised as spiritual bodies.
For the Lord himself will come down
from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and
with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise
from their graves. Then together with them, we who are still alive and remain
on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
Then we will be with the Lord forever.
Jesus said:”
I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who
sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but
they have already passed from death into life.
I am the resurrection and the life.
Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in
me and believes in me will never ever die.

The Bible is merely a collection of
stories, myths, or human ideas about God
|
Above all, you must realize that no
prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, or from
human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they
spoke from God.
All Scripture is inspired by God and
is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in
our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is
right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
When we tell you these things, we do
not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to
us by the Spirit, using the Spirit words to explain spiritual truth. But
people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit.

|
I don’t believe in Christ’s offer of salvation…
|
But those who brazenly violate the
Lord’s will, whether native-born Israelites or foreigners have blasphemed the
Lord, and they must be cut off from the community. Since they have treated
the Lord’s word with contempt and deliberately disobeyed his command, they
must be completely cut off and suffer the punishment for their guilt.
Jesus said:”
I tell you the truth, all sin and blasphemy can be forgiven, but anyone who
blasphemes the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. This is a sin with eternal
consequences.
There is salvation in no one else!
God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

listens to my teachings and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a
house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters
rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is
built on bedrock. But anyone who hears my teachings and ignores it is
foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rain and floods
come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty
crash.
Those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who
trust the Lord will be joyful.

|
What is God’s purpose?
|
God’s purpose was that we Jews who were the first to trust
in Christ would bring praise and glory to God. And now you Gentiles have also
heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believe in
Christ, he identified you as his own, by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he
promised long ago.

actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see…

How can I escape temptation?
|
When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness by the devil, he
escaped temptation and told people to worship only God and follow his
teachings.
Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He
prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm
against him and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian
brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of
suffering you are.
The temptations in your life are no different from what other
experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more
than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that
you can endure.
Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead,
pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call
on the Lord with pure hearts.

How do I cure my evil desires?

Pride goes before destruction and haughtiness before a

proud.
Better to be poor and honest than to be dishonest and a
fool

Proverbs 16:18, 19,
Proverbs 19:1,
1 Peter 5:5
|
Why are people sinned?
What is sin?
|
When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin
brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. Yes, people
sinned even before the law was given.
Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then
not do it
|
Romans 5:12, 13
James 4:17
|
Who has sinned?
|
For everyone has sinned, we all fall short of God’s
glorious standard.
Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but
Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a relationship with God and new life
for everyone. Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But
because on other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.
Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is
contrary the law of God. And you know Jesus came to take away our sins, and
there is no sin in him. Anyone who continues to live in him will not sin. But
anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is.

1 John 3:4-6
|
What’s so bad about sin?
|
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is

It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of
your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore.

How do I know God will hear my prayers?
|
John said:” Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with
bold confidence. And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey
him and do the things that please him.”
For I know I have the plans for you, “say the Lord”. They
are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In
those days, when you pray, I will listen.

I love to have lots of money and materials…
What are usually the problems when people want to be rich
and have lots of money?
|
Don’t store up your treasures here on earth where moths
eat them and rust destroys them; and where thieves break in and steal. Store
your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do
not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your
heart will also be.
Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God
has said, “I will never fail you, I will never abandon you”.
No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and
love the other, you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot
serve both God and money.
But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and
are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin
and destruction.
For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.
And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced
themselves with many sorrows.

|
How do I know if Jesus is with me or guide me?
Who is the Holy Spirit?
|
Jesus promised to send the Holy
Spirit to guide his followers before he left his ministry on earth to return
to heaven.
Jesus says:” If you love me,
obey my commandments. And I will ask the father, and he will give you another
Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all
truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and
doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and
later will be in you”.

Who are we?
Who are we according to Jesus?
|
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of
God.
Since we know that Christ is righteous, we also know that
who do what is right are God’s children.
See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his
children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world
don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.
For you are all children of God through faith in Christ
Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on the
character of Christ. Like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or
Gentile, slave or free, male or female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Jesus said:” You are truly my
disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth
and the truth will set you free.”
To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs
of the water of life. All who are victorious will inherit all these
blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.
Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us
in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to
adopt us to his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ.
This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

Are we here on earth by accidents of nature? Or God created
us?
|
God knew us before we were born-
even while we were in our mother’s womb:” You made all the delicate, inner
parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for
making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous-how well I
know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I woven
together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of
my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single
day had passed”.

Psalm 139 13-16
|
Can I ask God for anything?
I am always worried about things in life. Should I pray to
God in everything I face in life?
|
Jesus said:” Keep on asking,
and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find.
Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”
Jesus said:” So if you sinful
people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your
heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.”
Jesus said:” I tell you the
truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and
much more. You can even say to this mountain, “ May you be lifted up and
thrown into the sea”, and it will happen. You can pray for anything, and if
you have faith, you will receive it. “
We know that God does not listen to sinners, but he is
ready to hear those who worship him and do his will.
Jesus said:” But if you
remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want,
and it will be granted. When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples.
This brings great glory to my Father.”
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about
everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then
you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.
His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

How will Jesus come to judge the world?
|
For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory
of his Father and will judge all people according to their deeds.
For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the
west, so it will be when the Son of man comes. Just as the gathering of vultures
shows there is a carcass nearby, so these signs indicate that the end is
near. Immediately after the anguish of those days, the sun will be darkened,
the moon will give no light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers
in the heavens will be shaken.
And then at last, the sign that the Son of man is coming
will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the
people of the earth. And they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of
heavens with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with the
mighty blast of a trumpet, and they will gather his chosen ones from all over
the world - from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven.
As my vision continued that night, I saw someone like a
son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient One
and was led into his presence. He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty
over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation
and language would obey him. His rule is eternal – it will never be
destroyed.

You must not have any other god but me. You must not make
for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heaven or on

What happen to people who belong to Christ when they die?
|
Just as everyone dies because we all
belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life. But
there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised at the first of the
harvest; then all who belongs to Christ will be raised when he comes back.
But let me reveal you a wonderful
secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed. It will happen
in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when
the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And
we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be
transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be
transformed into immortal bodies.
Then when our dying bodies have been
transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be
fulfilled.

How do we know if God cares about us, or our loved ones?
